Anita Singh's Inner Artist Creativity Workshop - For the young of heart

    Children and Adults Welcome
    Saturday August 13, 10-4

In the first part of this workshop students will use natural objects gathered for the class, to learn how to observe and record, what they see by completing a series of drawing studies. Participants will learn about tonal values, texture, and creating balance in compositions by experimenting with different types of materials: drawing pencils, charcoal, graphite, pastels, ink, pastels, and pencil crayons. Classes will include group and individual instruction, participants will be encouraged and challenged at their own level of experience. In the second part of the workshop, students will explore aspects of balance by using materials from the first part of the class to create sculptural mobiles.

Materials will be supplied. Please bring a lunch.
